Arrival in bangalore
Arrived in Bangalore with a huge amount of luggage and joked about how many times we would need to go by this car 🚗 to have all our stuff 😁. Good thing is that we had 3 cars picking us up.
We are staying at a serviced apartment for the next two months....a little bit close as we have one bedroom for sleeping (4 of us) and one room with sofa, dining table and kitchen.
Luckily we have 12th floor where the pool can chill us down and give so some space...
Ingrid is leading the "get ind shape" campaign in the fitness center and Ellen is sharpening our swim strokes, acting as a coach.
1. Day in Bangalore Ellen went to a 3 hour test to determine what grade she should attend. It was a little tough with jet lag and the assessor having Indian dialect. Ellen did great and is placed in 8th grade...here called M3 🤔. Ingrid is in P8, proud of having a higher number than ellen 😉
We now have indian telephone numbers for Ole and Maja, and have made the first interview for drivers and started the testing of their skills. Recruitment for something like this is very different from what Maja has tried before. They are all lined up and ready for interview, so they know who their competitors are.
We now have the formal resident papers to stay in india untill next summer where they need a renewal.
Maybe we need to find chamber sheet music for our instruments, so we can still play.

Housing
We have seen many areas in Bangalore on our go look see trip. On that trip we also decided that we would not stay in Palm Meadows (whitefield) where most of the Danish community live (close to novo), but very far from the school. The kids would have a commute of approx 3,5 hours a day and we did not think that was fair.
Arrived to Bangalore we therefore visited a couple of communities close to school, and have settled with our old favorite in Embassy Boulevard. The paper work is still ongoing, so not good to jinx it, but we are counting on moving in around Nov. 1. 2018.
Music
Still not found a music school for the kids...Ingrids Horn will not arrive before later, but Ellen carried her trumpet as hand luggage, so we need to get moving on that part.
