Malavalli-Shivasamudram Falls

Driving west of Bangalore (approx 3 hours) we met a fabulous sight, significant impressive because of the rain season being tough this year.
The Shivasamudram falls gave us the first vision of Abes, Indian turism, local restrooms and the joy of travelling with af very blond girl. For some reason selfies with people you do not know is a big hit, especially if you can spice it with a blond girl. Ingrid thought it was a little bit overwhelming so we had to say no to the majority!
Walking down the path to see the falls very close was a little bit too full of people for the girls, so Maja took a trip of her own. It turned out that is was not that bad, so the rest of the family was sent off.

Et par hellige køer.

Mysore

Continued to Mysore the cultural capital of Karnataka. The capital city for the Kingdom of Karnataka for nearly 6 centuries (1399-1956)
We only got to see the palace, and the st. Philomenas church from the outside, so we definitely need to have a revisit. Looking forward to bring friends.
The picture on the front of the blog is the lighting of the palace in Mysore. We learned that Sundays are the time to se the light in the palace…, so next time we probably would make a sleepover and watch the magic.
